Enzymes

Enzymes are protein-based molecules that speed up a chemical reaction in or on a living organism. They occur naturally and are used to break down complex soils like grass and blood. Enzymes get 'used up' while the fulfill their purpose, so they do not persist. Some people are sensitive to enzymes.
